A word of welcome

Dearly beloved in Christ

It is with great joy and thanksgiving that I welcome you to Bethel Mar Thoma Church, New Delhi. Whether you worship with us each week, or are finding us from far away, you are part of this parish family.

The Christian journey is never meant to be walked in isolation. We are called to grow together in faith, to support one another in love, and to strengthen the bonds of Christian fellowship.

Our story

Rooted in faith,
growing in grace

Our tradition traces back to A.D. 52, when St. Thomas the Apostle arrived in India. Bethel itself was formed on 6 July 1991 and named — the House of God — by His Grace Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Metropolitan, growing over three decades into a family of 143 households and 565 members.
